About Chef Didier Viriot
Chef Didier Viriot native of
Paris, France followed his dad steps - Chef Bernard Viriot - in
the family owned restaurant in Ibiza, Spain. Chef Didier Viriot
worked in the best restaurants in Belgium including the Atomium
in Brussells, the St Germain at the Sablon, Mon manege a toi in
After years spending years in
Europe mastering culinary arts, Chef Didier Viriot followed his
Dad in 1981 to the USA where he worked in Dallas (Café de Paris,
Clair de Lune) and Chicago (Christal Lake Country Club). Chef
Didier Viriot, a master Pastry Chef, opened his first bakeries
called, CD Bakery, in Dallas and in San Jose, Costa Rica.
In 2006, Chef Didier Viriot
started working at Pompano Seafood in Dallas. He then took over
Pompano Seafood and started Citrus Bistro in 2009. The same
year, Citrus Bistro was awarded one of the “10 Best Restaurants
in DFW” by Dallas Morning News. Citrus Bistro was named the
“Favorite Restaurant” for Texas Monthly (June 2009).
Citrus Bistro features fresh
seafood food from all around the world expertly prepared by Chef
Didier. In addition to seafood, we offer an exceptional array
of steaks and rack of lamb. In addition, our amazing desserts
are made in house under the direction of Chef Didier.
The creativity and
originality of the cuisine by Chef Didier is what makes Citrus
Dining and Catering
Our main dining room seats up to 80 guests,
our outside patio can seat from 40 to 60 guests, our private
Chef Table can seat up to 21
guests. Our semi-private
room can accommodate up to 24 guests. We also have an in house
bar with a lounge that is separated from our dining room, where
guests can enjoy full bar services and specialty cocktails.
Note that we are not a BYOB.
Citrus Bistro’s French bistro
atmosphere makes for the perfect neighborhood restaurant
offering the ambiance of chic and elegance. Guests can enjoy a
quiet dinner for two or a fine dining experience for a group.
Several nights a week, we
offer live music (romantic pop and soul, blues, jazz, Spanish
guitar and classical piano) to accompany your dining and to make
your evening a unique experience.
Celebrating that special
occasion… we provide catering for corporate events, private
parties, special events, business functions, and more. We can
arrange an event or party for you at our premises or at the
venue of your choice.
Citrus Bistro has relocated
to a much bigger and a more beautiful location. We are located
in Colleyville, Texas and serve the greater DFW area.
